Horns Against Heaven

And I have failed you,
like I have never failed you before.
And it is only now, that I search for light,
when darkness is at my door.

To the arrogant I say
‘Boast no more’
And to the wicked,
‘Do not lift up your horns’

But there is life, here when I am choking,
on the water that surrounds.
